Lentil Pilaf

1 cup lentils
1/4 cup wild rice, washed
1/2 cup long grain white rice
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1/4 cup butter
1 oz. slivered almonds
2 3/4 cups chicken broth
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Saute the lentils, rice, onion and garlic in the butter until onion is tender 3 - 4 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 30 minutes or until all the water is absorbed.
